Zinc

Zinc was not a real group, but another studio creation made by Jacques Fred Petrus and Mauro Malavasi. The studio concept consisted of American and Italian musicians led by producer/arranger Malavasi. Singer Gordon Grody was the leader of Zinc.

Grody is a well-known backing vocalist who has recorded with many soul and rock artists such as Debbie Harry, Donald Fagen, George Benson, David Bowie, Steely Dan, Patti Austin, Luther Vandross, and Talking Heads.

He has also sung in the projects of Fred Petrus and Mauro Malavasi: Macho (Roll) and Silence 2.
